I went to GV Grand to watch Bewitched on National Day with my Sayang. The movie…I would give it 2.5/5. Yeah… the ending was a bit flat ah.

Anyways, this is not what I wanter to talk about. I went to Nuvo(a shoe shop) and I saw this cute pumps. Its silver and had beads on it and it had a nice cut. The price tag was $89.90! But, what the hell, if it looks really good on me, why not buy it? So I tried it on and was checking it out on my feet till a Malay Sales girl(she was looking at me since I entered the shop btw!) suddenly told me with a big smile on her face "Excuse me, its interior is made of pig skin."! I was pissed! There were other customers and I did not want to create a scene. So I said in Malay, "Abeh kau tengok aku dari tadi, sekarang baru kau bilang!". I could not say much as when I said that, I felt that it was a little too loud. I left. When my Hubby came back from the Gents, I told him the incident. Sayang did not know what to do. He was actually so sweet to go to a Mosque at Jln Sayang to ask an Ustad, but it was closed. Then we went to Kassim, and the Ustad was giving a talk.I called up my friend, who knows religion a lot better than me, and she advised me to wash my leg once with this certain kind of soil and then seven times with clean water! Where on Earth in Singapore can I find that kind of soil? Sayang was being so sweet. He drove around and around till we came accross a construction site. There was a whole big pile of it! I asked for permission from a Bangla if I could have just a handful of it. Bless him, he allowed me. Sayang brought me to Kembangan CC and thankfully there was a running tap in the toilet. I thankfully washed my leg.

So, to all my Muslim friends out there, careful when you want to try shoes ok! Anyways, just to let you know if you do not, Mango shoes are made of pig skin! No matter how much I love Mango, I never buy the shoes!
